attaching DSLR to binocular microscope...

hello

a beginner asks about attaching a Nikon DSLR to the American Optical 150 'scope...

this YT video depicts the LOMO device:

please comment on the image quality one might anticipate, the cost for the 'adapter,' etc.

That adapter does not allow visual viewing (it is for camera only).

Image quality can be good at less than 20x objective (direct projection - keep sensor about 150mm from objective shoulder).

For 20x objective and over, you need compensating eyepiece that matches your microscope objectives. That adapter does not allow eyepiece connection easily.

Cost is about $40 shipped from Raf Camera.
