Has anyone figured out why Picolay is free? Nothing on the internet is free.

There are still some decent, generous, people left in the world.

Heribert Cypionka is a professor a a german university, Picolay started probably as a project related to one of his research topics. He has even held a few free workshops here in Germany, unfortunately I missed one here in Hamburg. In case you have a problem with the programm you can actually contact him and he will offer support. I use Picolay fairly successfully for years and haven't even read the manual so far....

There's tons of free stuff on the internet! One trick if you haven't heard already is to append "open source" anytime you're searching for free software. That will filter out the "free but actually not really" stuff for the most part.

There's some really high quality free stuff out there. GIMP is a photoshop clone with all sorts of plugins and documentation available online. Davinci Resolve is the program I use to do all my video editing - it's insanely powerful and polished and, while there is a paid version, the free version has about 95% of the functionality with no limits on what most people are practically going to be doing.

Mazzios is a popular Italian restaurant chain that offers a delicious lunch buffet. Let's take a closer look at their hours of operation, menu, and prices. Get mazzio's lunch buffet hours details here.

Regarding nothing being free on the internet … it’s a pity that wasters like this are free to interfere with our forum.
