Dual goose neck illuminators

Hi all,

I am currently in the market for a lamp. I am wanting to know how much of a difference wattages make, specificially when it comes to LED, FiberOptic and Halogen.

I have found some 50w Fiberoptic ones, with Halogen and or LED I am not quite sure where to start and am feeling overwhelmed. I plan to use this for macro photography, specifically slime molds via a 10x objective.

Do any of you have any experience purchasing off Alibaba or Aliexpress?

If it is a halogen source don't bother below 150w. Get a used one from a good brand. I unfortunately don't know about the newer LED ones.
