New Microscopy Wiki!

Dear Microscopy Community!

There is so much knowledge about microscopy in the community. I have started a Wiki where we can collect microscopy-related information and links:

http://www.microbehunter.com/wiki/

Sometimes old forum posts get lost "in history" or can not be easily found anymore and a Wiki is a much more organized way of making this information accessible. I have started the Wiki based on the suggestion of a community member (thank you!!) and I think it is a really great idea. Please help build this new resource!

All the best, Oliver

Looks like the wiki has been taken over by spam bots over the last couple of days. It needs to be reverted and perhaps the security improved?

I've deleted the spam and added some general links to get it started off. It's not that useful at the moment as most of us already know these links. I haven't given much thought to what kind of information could go on it and how it could be organized, but one potentially useful extension is to have a list of links to resources and institutions by country, which I have started for Singapore. Now I have to go back to playing with my microscope!!

There are thousands of fake users already. I suppose you'll have to validate new users manually...

I see! I'm afraid I'll have to leave it for another day - trying to tweak my light source at the moment!
