BBC News - The tiny mites that have sex on our faces have a problem

Picasso is dead,
Mozart is dead,
Einstein is dead,
And I ain't feeling great.

I was trying to see Dust Mites yesterday but only have up to a 40X objective and didn't see any with that. My bedroom gets air conditioned in the summer and I think that cuts down on them but if I saw a bunch I would be cleaning the whole place like hospital level clean! Now I did see way back on the TV news the electron microscope views of dinosaur like creatures crawling . Oh man I can't even finish. Maybe them ones you posted about don't like aftershave or something. Guess part of the world. Are they helpful like gut bacteria or parasites. I guess a range exists between beneficial, guest riders, and feeder offers like fleas and ticks.

A 40x objective will show specific details of a dust mite. They are not that small. Even a 4x will give a nice picture.

The problem is to find a dust mite. They are never in the dust collecting on your floor. They love it wet. Look into the inner guts of a at least 10 years old mattress and you will find plenty of those mites.
