Hello all,
I grew up around science and optics, so I've had plenty of exposure to microscopes, but never really needed one on a regular basis for any of my personal pursuits until recently...
Currently I'm using a low power stereo microscope for watchmaking (very amateur) and nib work on fountain pens.
I inherited two stereo microscopes: a dual magnification Spencer from the 1930s and an AO Cycloptic (with obligatory prism failure), neither was ideal and I recently acquired an Olympus VT-II to replace them.
Now I'm trying to fine tune my setup and will surely benefit from the collective knowledge gathered here!
TIA for all the good advice,
David/awa54
