To all of you Microscopy Folks, Hello!
Retired and exploring the Micro and Macro worlds.
Have loved microscopes all of 60 plus years. Have an assortment from my first BIG purchase of a Leitz SM to a Brock Magicscope with a few AO's, an OMax and a Fisher, and a ton of odds and ends.
I do miss the days of the "Perfect Laboratory Equipment" and supplies! Had to work all summer just to get $12 to buy a #802 Microscope, all contained in a walnut sectional cabinet, with dissecting set included! Dreams of Grandeur and exploration! A little bit of Tony Stark and Reed Richards universal quest of discovery thrown in the mix.
As mentioned else where, looks like I stumbled across a bit of Heaven here. Lots of VERY interesting points of view and conversing on subjects never realized. Hope to learn from all and maybe help others in exploring this world we live in!
