Hello from a newcomer

Photography's been my lifelong passion and profession, but before the age of 15, biology and microscopy were my loves. Now retired and seeking subject matter that doesn't require a lot of physical activity, photomicrography has rekindled my interest in microscopy. So with my old B&L monocular and binocular languishing, I've invested in a new trinocular to take advantage of my full frame DSLR and begun studying and gearing-up.

So glad I found the MicrobeHunter on YouTube!

Welcome, always good to see new people!

Did you get a trinocular head for your B&L or a whole other microscope? If it's the later, what did you get? If the former, which model of B&L?

BobHelmond,
Once you get setup for pictures, interested in what will be your subject matter!
Have fun doing photomicrography.
Since retiring myself doing the same thing.
Welcome to the forum.

New Amscope Bright&Dark field scope. Have both a mono- and binocular B&L that I've had for years, but needed something for photomicrography and also to do presentations to children in my community. My Nikon full frame DSLR should handle both the stills and video that is needed for live demonstrations.
