Getting started again..

#1 Post by Harold » Sun Aug 22, 2021 6:37 pm

I started out with a Edmunds Scientific cheapie microscope back when I was a teenager. Did enough front lawn clippings infusions to lend my room a sort of barnyard ambience. Returning to the hobby in the wilds of Southern Oregon some 55 years later.

If UPS delivers on schedule (big IF), I'll be in possession of a very nice, new to me Olympus BH2 sometime tomorrow. I plan to sample some of the quieter back waters of the Rogue River and culture anything that looks interesting. Having been a deep sky astro-photograper I also plan to do some micro-photography as well. Right now, those efforts are limited to what I can do with an eyepiece adapter and my iPhone.
