Hello,
I’m almost 60 amd have just started using microscope. Am finding it fascinating but loosened the wrong knob and the tri nocular head fell off and struck the stage on its way to the tabletop.
It didn’t fall far but struck the stage reasonably hard.
There now sounds something loose in the binocular part that the eyepieces go into.
If it’s tipped one way it’s hard to focus. If I take it off and tip the other way and then replace, it focuses much better.
I’m hoping I haven’t damaged it too much. Is it an easy fix or do I need to send it away for repair?
It’s a Saxon RBT Researcher Biological Microscope (NM11-4100II)
Any advise would be gratefully received.
Thank you,
Steve
