Hello,
Just getting started with microscopy. Ordered an older Olympus ch2 and a trinocular head and some other bits and pieces. Excited to start getting a closer look at fungi, bacteria, and micro-fauna that inhabit trees in my region. I'm a consulting arborist and many of the critters that eat and feed trees are best ID with microscopic characteristics. Also, I've always been fascinated by the microscopic world.

Another Oregonian here from Josephine County. Coincidentally, also a BH2 user.

Oregon is a beautiful place having some of the greatest scenery and places to go that stand out as unique. It is too large for me to be able to cover as I still work for a living but when retirement comes I will enjoy it more.
We have covered the entirety of the 101, I 5, and 97, but haven't been further east than Bend.
