I have been using microscopes for several years now to prep fossils with air abrasion and air scribe with one and sort through micro material and viewing details with another.

I use a B&L Stereozoom 4 for the prep work in my cabinet. The one I used for the longest to search the micro material and viewing was a Celestron 4040.

I have currently taken the Celestron 4040 out of the equation and just got an AmScope SM-4TZZ-144A-18M3. I was wanting an easier way to take photos of things other than using my phone and shooting through the ocular (it's not that easy to get a good shot). The AmScope comes with the 18mp MU1803 camera. Shows great images, overall I'm happy with the set up. It brings a lot more power than I'm used to and the camera is a learning curve to say the least and trying to find answers about that is how I ended up here.

Lots of folks here have lots of experience with cameras. They can explain stitching or stacking if you need the info.
