Dear Micobehunter members,
Please let me introduce myself, I am scientist in Rayong province, Thailand. Six years ago, my ex-boss gave me a old-fashioned Carl Zeiss microscope. Dirt, mold, no light and no eyepieces because the microscope was left in laboratory for many years.
However, I immediately fell in love with this microscope. I can not find Carl Zeiss eyepieces in my country. But luckily my friend who is a Photographer who always buys camera accessories from E-bay, he brought me a pairs of vintage Carl Zeiss eyepieces last year, sorry I can not remember which country in Eastern Europe.
For this reason so I started restoring the Microscope in April and searched for more information of Microscopy then I found Microbehunter on Youtube !!!!!
I would like to thank Oliver for the microscopy information, inspired me to DIY a darkfield ring, polarizer filter and more. However, my microscope is not available for observing anytime soon.
I hope, I will finish my DIY a illumination system by August.
Thank you for listening to me and please guide me as I am new in Microscope Hobby.
Best Regard,
Thassanant Atithep
