New hobbyist from Düsseldorf, Germany

#1 Post by stefanj9 » Mon Dec 12, 2022 2:28 pm

Hi,

I'm Stefan and I live in Düsseldorf.

As a child I owned a simple plastic microscope with a mirror and unfortunately lost sight of the hobby. A friend of mine recently brought me back to the subject.

I own a Swift S7-TGL stereo microscope and a Swift SW380T compound microscope. I am interested in photographing things that cannot be seen with the naked eye and I hope to find suggestions here :)

bye
Stefan

Hi Stefan, are you using the ZWO ASI178MC camera together with your microscopes and asking since I got a Swift S7 myself and looking to buy a camera. Like that ASI178MC has a bit of bigger camera sensor (1/1.8”) compared with for example the cheaper version of the Switchcam but seems to be primary sold for telescope. How does it perform and what adapters are you using together with it?
