Hello from Sweden and registered to the forum to gain som basic knowledge about both microscopy and the scope that I recently bought (SWIFT S7-TGL Stereo Trinocular Microscope) to be used primary when performing soldering (repairing old computers and other retro tech such as B&O) but also to be used for photography and general family microscope (you know coins, flowers, insects, stones and minerals). Haven't used microscopes since schools, so yeah I'm a noob :D

Sure, the S7 is seen in many variation and first I was aiming for Bresser ETD-201 but starting to reading around about the possibility to utilise DSLR (which I'm after spent a few hours reading on) I'm most likely opting for a Swiftcam after seeing some of Olivers videos around adapters for the S7 and using DSLR T2 adapters. With the similar scope he only got crisp picture when using expense adapter (>$1000). I'm not there yet to plunge that kind of money yet as I'm just getting started and want to see how much I'll being using it for photography. Did also now order 0.5X, 1X and 2X Barlow glas lenses were the 1X is to protect the lenses from solder fumes.

Thank for the kind comment on my photographs on Flickr. I am truly flattered that you found them beautiful. Photography is a passion of mine, and I spend way to much time behind the eyepieces and camera (if you ask my wife...). It's a great hobby with endless possibilities to find interesting subjects to shoot.
