Hello from the UK

Hello everyone,
I’m new to the world of microscopes. I’ve spent some time watching loads of youtube videos and got hooked. I ordered a microscope from Amazon, because I didn’t know anywhere else. It’s a Swift SW380T and, very exciting, it’s due to arrive today! Can’t wait to dive in, learn more from everyone here and get involved in this world. It’s coming with a camera, so I hope to share photos of the micro verse I discover.
Thanks for accepting me as a member and looking forward to getting to know people.
Kevin

I've always found the live action to be better than a video. Rotifers are particularly fun to watch. Then there's algae that looks like swimming cage balls, things that go rotten in the fridge, pus, etc. On the practical side, I've looked at milk that smelled perfectly fine, but when viewed under the microscope, was a clear "oh, hell no", home made sauerkraut that got a bit too much air, etc.
