Hi RayC, welcome.

Do post a photo of your microscope in the My microscope section if you have one.
It is always nice to see what people are using.
Zeiss Standard WL (somewhat fashion challenged) & Wild M8
Olympus E-P2 (Micro Four Thirds Camera)

Me, too, Ray. I'd been away from microscopy for a long time, and it's great to be back. I'm hitting a couple of ponds tomorrow, and then it's seeing if I can remember how to get those critters in the hanging-drop slide!

However, as someone from Cardinals country, I'm afraid I don't share your putative enthusiasm for Mr. Newton.

I'll have to take some pictures. I'm on my tablet. Thanks for the welcome from all. If I see a microscope, and it is not a toy,! I generally add it to my collection. My prized possession is a Kent that was purchased from a second hand store. It was obtained by them from a physician's estate sale. I can see from post that there are very knowledgeable participants here. I'm glad I found this forum.

Ahh, it's nice to see, Ray, that you've 'bricks&mortar' adopted of prized stand...for your collection(family) of stands!
