Hello everyone

I am somewhat new to microscopy. During my biochem undergrad I had taken some biology courses like microbiology and immunology that gave me some basic experience with microscopy. Recently I have become more interested in agriculture and am looking to that as a possible direction for me.
Specifically I would like to work on building healthy soil ecosystems.
At the moment though I am not in a position where I can study this at an institution so I am looking to outside resources. Do any of you have experience in this area?

I am not working in agriculture, but...

When I was growing up on an almond orchard in California, we would plant peach trees, then cut them off and graft almond trees onto the stumps. Natural almond tree roots would get nematodes, but the peach tree roots were resistant to nematodes.

I always thought this would be a good microscopy project, but I've never got around to doing it. I think that soil nematodes would be quite photogenic under the microscope!
