Hello from North Carolina

Hi all, I am a beginner in the world of microbiology and I’m very excited to take part in the exploration. I am only 17 but I’m very passionate about my work. I use a binocular B120C-E1 AMScope microscope, a camera and many many cultures. I hope I can learn a lot from this community! :)

Hello and welcome! I think you will find microscopy a fascinating hobby. If you live near the coast, you will have the advantage of looking at both freshwater and saltwater critters! I know from having lived in S. Carolina there are no shortages of swamps, ponds, rivers, etc. I use a 2 Megapixel eyepiece camera I got years ago and it takes great videos. Enjoy!
