I have 2 previously owned Kirby.
My favourite is the Gen 7 Diamond edition with power reducing option.
650w consumption,self drive,HEPA all sorts.
Many people are sold a Kirby in a hard sell home demonstration only to find it is all too much.
It sits unused in a cupboard until sold on at a huge loss.
Paid £125 for a Diamond edition that was unused and complete.
£40 for a last generation with LED as a beater for the donkey work.
Kirby are made to be serviced and repaired, I do not work for Kirby and only have my own experience.
Had 2 Dyson models but unlikely to go there again.
Shark didn't make it in a rural environment with a dog either.
I'd be interested to do the Kirby sales person demo experiment where a black cloth is put inline and vacuum a mattress, pop it under the microscope.
At least what is on the cloth is no longer on the mattress.
Happy days.
