Opax objectives

Hi everyone,
I have an opax compound microscope (serial no. 261229) and am wondering where I can get objectives for it. It has the option for 4 objectives. At the moment there are 3 present 4x, 10x and 40x. I would like to add a 20x objective.
Have been looking online but can't find any opax objectives. Are there other brands like vickers that are compatible with opax? Any advice is appreciated.

Sorry, I don’t recognise the Opax name … so a couple of questions:

• Does it have standard RMS objective threads ?

• Is it 160mm or 170mm tube-length, or is it ‘infinity ?’

Both should be answerable by looking at your existing objectives.

On objectives only following is given. 40x: s40 0.65, 10x: 10 0.25 and 4x: 4 0.10
Objectives are threaded, but not sure if its rms size

I will take a wild guess that it’s 160mm tube length

RMS thread is 0.8” diameter and 36 threads per inch
