Hello-does anyone know about Ealing objectives (non reflecting type) like tube length-finite or infinity-an interesting one showed up on flea bay 40x .95 without correction collar-can’t find much info about this brand

Been around a while. Now , something called Hyland Optical Technologies., maybe ? Custom work mostly and a lot of laser, so an objective might be for laser delivery but would an apo be necessary in that regard ? That one looks to be spring loaded too.

With no collar I would assume it's a metallurgical objective with an NA that high.

The Ealing objectives seem to be the same as the Beck ones (from England UK ). Beck did a lot of metallic kit. I dont think that they got involved in infinity optics.
The Beck Epimax microscope seems to be of the same period as this style of objective.
