Nikon BE plan 10x microscope objective

#1 Post by fdupre » Sat Sep 16, 2023 12:16 pm

Hello everyone,

I am sharing with you 2 photos of the same butterfly (the copper moth) taken with a Nikon BE Plan 10x 0.25.
The first was stacked from 259 photos taken one by one and the second was stacked from a video.

I think it's not too bad for a first try.
We can clearly see the potential of this lens purchased for 60 dollars. Plus I could put it on my microscope because it is infinitely corrected :)

On the other hand, I think the subject is a little big for a 10x lens. I'm going to try a smaller subject but I find that the resolution/sharpness of the lens is not bad at all and I'm sure I can still fine-tune the settings when I saw what ADi managed to do with this lens.

Kind regards,
FRanck
