Nikon Diaphot project
Nikon Diaphot x-y stage control needs cleaning and relubrication. However, I don't know how to disassemble this handle. Has anyone done this and could give some hints how to take this apart?

I have a PDF of exploded diagrams, not sure it would be helpful but if you want it I can send a link to you.

You may not need to disassemble it. Just soak the whole thing in solvent, then re-lubricate externally (let lubricant drip in).

How thick is the original black round objective plate? My stage is missing the plate.
