Using my Tomlov DM202 Max, and a concave microscope slide, I was able to capture video of these graceful Rotifers.

Re: "Bdelloid Rotifers"
@Dennis - LOL! Right? I have several plates under plants in the garden, and some plates with just debris or potting soil and rainwater, and one of these plates yielded this Rotifer Rave!
Depending on the plate, temperature, etc. I will sometimes find it hard to locate even a few rotifers. It's just crazy out in those plates.
I think that's why I enjoy this hobby so much, I never know what I'll find when I bring my samples indoors.
What do you find mostly in your samples?

Holy moly!
Rotifer Rave is right! I'll have to start collecting water from plant saucers.
What latitude are you at? I don't have a whole lot of liquid water in my garden for very long this time of year.

I haven't been involved lately but I still check out the forum. What do you find mostly in your samples?
There is my website which actually doesn't represent my run of the day finds but my best catches.-

I like best a lake sample where you get some greenery in the algae and never know what you'll find which is always better than my birdbath water finds.
