Cells in Kombucha

#1 Post by DonSchaeffer » Sat Sep 26, 2020 5:42 pm

Kombucha is a food item of cultured yeast and bacteria. It is used in making items like sourdough bread and tea. I obtained a sample of it, soaked in in water. This is the substrate that came out of it. You can see the round yeast cells and the stick-like bacteria.

Very cool I was just thinking about Kombucha as a sample to observe. Looks like yeast along with lactic acid bacteria.
