I return to the captive, sealed jar of my granddaughter Hannah's salt water sample. Life goes in in there. The lovely flowing ciliates gracefully slide over the green algae strands. There is a giant arthropod-type disrupter to add excitement. As Spring proceeds will try to get some real pond water.

I just realized that the disruptor is probably a shrimp. This one is carrying eggs.

Thanks. I use 3 top stage lights and a movable sub-stage light. The images are in color. I just don't think there is much color in the subject, especially at 1,000 x or so.
