Weeds from under Snow

This Spring is late in coming. The final weeks of Winter were forgiving, but Winter has refused to leave. Snow is in patches on the grass. I went out and took some tortured looking grass weeds to give them a close look. These things never disappoint, even though the images were hard to get because these weak thin leaves were hard to shave. Illumination turned out to be a challenge.
