Complications have been accumulating in my artificial mud puddle since I added over-winter grass and left it exposed to whatever living things pass over it in the basement room where it sits. The worms came and insect larvae gradually decay in the water. It makes a kind of visual adventure to see it evolve.
The Mud Puddle Gets Murkier
