Yes and no. For the last year or so I have been living in the most extreme agonizing pain I have ever known from this. So I am glade the pain will be gone. However I was rather keen on keeping all my teeth but that's life, man.

I just don't understand how a tooth could even get like that in the first place.

Lol true. Actually technically. I have all my teeth plus extra. Never did have the wisdoms out.
