On my inspection tour of the mudpuddle, I was greeted this morning by a rush of swarming ciliates the likes of which I'd never seen. There were also small but growing amoebas and the usual background crowd of infinitesimal bacteria and flagellates.

Watching it on my big screen and Wow! What an opening scene!
Do you know what species they are? They’re shaped like Coleps, but I think they are too small and too fast.

No I don't. They emerged after all the fancier ciliates vamished. Thanks jimbo
