can anyone tell me what is happening with algae cell?

I've just started microscopy with a Swift 280. I Took this video of some filamentous algae [youtube]

You don't mention the magnification, so it is hard to say. I would go with either speeded-up video or Brownian motion.

It might be contamination from motile bacteria. We often see this kind on motion in our plankton samples after they have aged for a few days. Cytoplasmic streaming of organelles within plant cells tends to be more orderly
