In the past I have had trouble seeing the cells of mushrooms. They have very thin cell membranes that are hard to illuminate and everything is typically buried in a mass of thin fibers. But this time I succeeded. Using high contrast techniques I could see two kinds of cells--one looking the the stems of plants and the other looking like the cells of flowers. There were spores all over the place.

Inspired by your video I had a look at a Portobello mushroom (gills) that was in the fridge, took some pics with a 100x/1.25 oil. Yes those spores are everywhere!
