Earth of the Very Small

This is about the very tiniest of organisms in the mud puddle. I am fascinated with these flagellates, bacteria, and indescribable algae misfits that inhabit the biome but are so tiny even at 1,000x it's impossible to make out what they really look like. Some of my images give these tiny organisms a three-dimensional-looking stage which appears to add a story-line to their movements.

Time to upgrade to an electron microscope :D
(Actually, using an electron microscope is probably not as much fun, given the tedium of sample preparation, etc.)

You can't watch anything alive with an electron microscope. Also I have neither space nor money.

You do pretty good with what you got there Don. I don't have the space or money either. We need to apply for grant monies. 😍😍
