Trying some citric acid polerising

#1 Post by Balfroni » Mon Oct 18, 2021 11:50 am

I bought citric acid last year to make cheese. It was in the cupboard and I was going to throw it out last week. Thankfully I held on to it. I made some slides following the info on Oliver's video on Vitamin C polerisation. It has been beautiful to see. Here are a few low res pics taken on my phone. Just amazing colours.

Amazing colors indeed. It must look great through the eyepiece.

Thanks, it does, it's hard to capture but great to see. I used an old pair of 3d cinema glasses we had in the car. The lenses just popped out and they work.
