I have been observing many Gastrotrich from a river sample and finally made some videos. Such nice creatures!

I was lucky to capture this one into a very colorful surrounding. I think it adds a lot to the aesthetic of the video.

Also I made a video of some Colepidae Ciliates feeding on a dead Rotifer.

A really nice catch! And yes - gastrotrichs are beautiful creatures.

The gastrotrich is a young Lepidodermella sp. as it has big scales without any spikes. To determine the species, it would be necessary to have a closer look at the form of the ventral and dorsal scales, but chances are good that it is a Lepidodermella squamata.
