The contents of my jar

#1 Post by microplan » Wed Nov 24, 2021 10:29 am

Hello.

A few days ago I put a handful of moss in a jar and poured it over with water.
I wanted to look for water bears but found something else.
I don't know what it is because I'm not a biologist.
This is my first video posted here.
The quality is hopeless in my opinion, but so far I can't get any better.
I made a few such videos so I will post them from time to time.
Any criticism and advice are welcome.
Sorry for the language, but I use an interpreter.

Regards.

The video is private so we can't see it. For us to see it you'd have to change it to unlisted or public.

Sorry for the confusion. My fault.
I changed my movie to unlisted.
I don't know if it worked

Nice video!

I think it might be a Peritrich Ciliate in a free swimming stage (telotroch). Someone with more experience will sure chime in later to confirm this.

You can learn about Peritrich Ciliates on this great video
