2 more Stalingrad Diatoms

This time made more of an effort to find an ID to these two before uploading - as always happy to be corrected if anyone thinks ID is not correct.

1.) Zeiss 63x/1.4, 120µm length, 86 images stacked in Photoshop (Surirella striatula)

2.) Zeiss 63x/1.4, 115µm length and width, 4 stacks (of a silly number of images) stitched in Photoshop (Campylodiscus clypeus)

Beautiful! Man, that Campy image was a lot of work, but it sure paid off!

Wow, the shape of that Surirella is so aesthetically pleasing. Like a perfect little leaf glyph.

Very exacting rendition. And somewhat reminiscent of old malleated (ornamented) metal plates.
