Touch of Monet/Impressionism perchance?

Hi guys
Some oil of olbas with a drop of Salactol, left to dry on slide, Leitz compound scope, crossed polars with Mica retarder! Almost cartoon like ;-).

Maybe an homage to Kandinsky as well? It does look almost like brush strokes - nice images.
