A few days ago I added a grain of cooked rice to a sample that wasn't showing that much, and today I found this beautiful, large ciliate. It looks very funny because it seems to have cute eyes. I guess those are two food vacuoles. (?) I would appreciate some help with the ID.
I used my usual equipment at 100 and 400 x on bright field, and 200 x on dark field.

After some research, I think it might be a Prorodon ciliate.
Edit: I found this previous thread with some interesting notes from Bruce Taylor. I think the shape of the cytostome is clearly showing on my sample.
