My very first *beginners level* cellphone micro-video
My very first *beginners level* cellphone micro-video
Here it is, my first crude attempt!
I used my old Samsung S9 focal through my Olympus BHT.
DIY Reinberg filters.
I used a freeware filter to clean it up a but but the colors aren't enhanced.
I can see how this could be addictive!
Looking forward to knowing what I'm doing....

Nice! What are you using to hold the phone? I've found that my preferred technique is just a normal cell phone tripod adapter and a cheap mini tripod but I haven't tried everything yet.

Great result. I like the shine through effect of the rotifer a lot. To me it seems that for many occasional videos a phone really is not such a bad idea. It's very easy to use. I had a USB camera with my scope that I hardly use, because my phone gives me much better results and is easier to set up.

Im using one of the holders that clamps onto the eyepiece, readily available on Amazon, etc.
Thanks!
