Space fly

#1 Post by imkap » Wed Jun 22, 2022 9:47 pm

I put a microscope on my telescope and took a photo (6 photo stack to be more precise) of a giant fly resting on the Moon, just the wing unfortunately, no head. A very lucky find indeed...

The background reminded me of space, so I joked a bit... I did a 6 image stack of a fly wing with darkfield... Actually I currently don't own a telescope, sold the one I had, probably I'll buy one soon, but they are either too big, or too expensive so I can't make up my mind :D ...

So....the Hubble Space Telescope was panning past Jupiter when it caught the edge of the wing of that giant cockraoch from the 1st Men in Black movie.

Yeah there could be a Haiku in there.

I thought joking was taboo in this forum.

This is one of more relaxed forums I've been on. I've seen no tensions between members here in these 8 months. Which is actually a rarity, particularly where some technical stuff is involved... and at the same time you can find very interesting talk and good advice about the subject... So thanks everyone ;)
even the spammers are not too vulgar...
