Brachionus ciliate

IN THIS VIDEO WE CAN OBSERVE THE INTERNAL STRUCTURE OF THIS ROTIFER AS WELL AS ITS EGGS AND A CILIATE PERITRICH (VORTICELLA) THAT USES THIS ROTIFER AS A "TAXI"

Really nice video! I wonder what it took for that Vorticella to be able to land on this rotifer, attach and grow, although they do the same thing to water fleas pretty regularly.

Yes, they tend to "anchor" to various microorganisms (ostracods, water fleas, rotifers...etc)
