Smooth and Rough Leaves

It may seem trivial to mention it, but I thought to look at the correspondence between the look and feel of a leaf and its structure. Smooth leaves have well spaced cell patches. Rough leaves are thicker with dense hair-like structures. It's nice to know what seems real--is.
