I took two leaf samples from a patch of decaying vegetation and examined the two stages of decay in the leaf. The general outline of the leaf disintegrates and becomes less distinct with time. I did see some evidence of moving organism incursion but I couldn't find it when filming.

Re: Two Stages of a Decaying Leaf
The different stages of decomposition in two leaves I took from the same pile of decaying vegetation were the focus of my research. Time dilutes and diminishes the leaf's overall form. Alive and on the move invasion signs were there, but I couldn't find them in time to get a photo.DonSchaeffer wrote: ↑Fri Aug 12, 2022 5:11 pmI took two leaf samples from a patch of decaying vegetation and examined the two stages of decay in the leaf.
