This stuff looks like the most frightening substance in the house. It consists of coffee grounds and other unidentifiable oily substances from a recently discarded garbage can content. Under the microscope it looks pristine. There were no evident bacteria or protists in it. That came as a surprise because it looks thoroughly horrible.
