Nice! "Stretch" is Stentor roeselii, not S. coeruleus (he has a band-shaped macronucleus, and no cortical pigments).

Re: Stentor coeruleus
I'm having troubles to watch the video... it does not upload.
Re: Stentor coeruleus
You probably have a Microsoft OneDrive cloud storage and it is a quirk.
You need to clean your browser's cookies and Site Data then you can.
In Firefox it is Tools/ Settings/ Privacy and Security/ Clear cookies and site data.
OR..... You might have to wait for it to load. I just went to look and nothing for like 15 seconds then it loaded.

This is a shorter version of the same video. The original video is made from 4 parts and this is part 3 only. 10X objective.
I make long videos usually because I am observing the creatures and their behavior.
Plus they really do not seem long when you sit on the microscope for say 3 hours with maybe no finds then get something like that. It's nickname is "Stretch."

Re: Stentor coeruleus
I just saw it, lovely specimen!
Re: Stentor coeruleus
"Stretch," as he was known by, never asked much of this world. When he just couldn't stretch himself out any further it was still okay. He just went mobile and you would have to run to keep up with him. Nobody bothered "Stretch the Stentor" cause he was too big.
His life was given in the pursuit of scientific study yet he might have just been emptied on the ground when the bird bath water got changed.
"Stretch" was an okay Stentor and as his name implies, he sure could stretch !!!
