Gastrotrich inside an egg. Footage sped up 10x. Brightfield, followed by some phase contrast at the end which shows nice detail. 40x objective.

I didn't know what it was at the time. I recorded about 41 minutes wondering if it would break out. Finally gave up since I had no idea if it would be minutes, hours or days. There were a few active periods, and the only real movement of the egg you can see in the video -- what you can't see at 10x speed is that a paramecium crashed into it and knocked it over a bit.
