The rubber plant is a popular houseplant, partly because of its puffy leaf structure. I'm not allowed to take leaves from growing plants with good reason. But these leaves look "healthy" for weeks after they are relegated to the bottom of the container. When scraped thin, the fairly irregular cells are clearly visible, both from the top and the bottom.
