One of the broad-leafed grasses on the lawn developed bare patches that spread to encompass half of the surface of the leaf in spots. It looks like the chlorophyll content of the leaf was absorbed of eliminated. What are the differences between the green and the un-greened sections of the leaves? The surfaces of the un-greened areas suggests that parts of the cell structure have been eliminated.
